Course Details
Digital Foundations encourages artists to utilize Free Software in their workflow. Tools such as GIMP, Scribus, Inkscape, and others are explained as a foundation for graphics design.

Some computer skills such as general mouse usage, menu navigation, web browsing, &c.

Motivation

Part of Free Culture is the aspect of creators using Free Software in their workflow. By using these tools we are supporting the Free Software movement.

Audience
Graphics designers, kids, students, and individuals who have a need or desire to express their ideas visually.

I have been using the GIMP for five years.
