Software

Lernanta is the software that supports our new site which is under active development. It is a fork of Mozilla drumbeat's Batucada project, with whom we work closely. It is based on Django, and licensed under MPL 1.1/GPL 2.0/LGPL 2.1.

System Administration

Although we have received generous hosting support from Oregon State University's Open Source Lab, it will take some time to migrate all services and in the meantime there are numerous simple optimizations that could be made to our current server, as well as basic services upkeep and management. In addition to the main site which is a LAMP stack, we are currently supporting etherpad and osqa behind an nginx proxy. If you like working on scalability, profiling, and other system administration tasks drop us a line on the mailing list.  

P2PU Archive

Until June 2011 we were using a platform based on Drupal which was not scaling with our needs and which we decided to build an alternative for. After the migration to the new site the old p2pu site was archived and it is available at archive.p2pu.org. The old tracker is at http://tracker.p2pu.org/ and the source code is on github.
