Hi,
I'm in the early stages of planning the Web Making 101 course and this area is where we can all add to the evolution of the course.
Starting off we want to generate a list of resources that are out that support the nature of the course. It'd be great to keep the list of resources limited to creative commons licensed content or open source stuff, but there are no hard and fast rule - quality rules at the end of the day .. A List Apart would be an example, because although the content is CC or OS there are some fantastically wonderful articles on there....
The aim is to utilise as much of the content and resources that are already available in order to create a sustainable series of tasks, without having to rely on generating new resources to feed tasks.
I've also put together what is essentially a mind dump of various topics/domains/skills technologies related ( some more so than others ) to the theme of web making 101. Feel free to add to this document, I'm going for quantity over quality. You can find the document on my google docs and you should be able to edit it.
Once there is a sufficient weight of resources and topics/domains/skills I'll set to work marrying them together and breaking out the creative process on the learning experience to create the challenges.
Cheers,
Jamie.
